For this photo montage, we will put together the story of a special wedding through photos and captions. There are some very good ideas in this post. It was our was very first time in Stewartville.
The dance area decorated by the family and friends. To make this work, they used a ladder and hang the light. The blacklight effect (kinda light uplighting) from Hot Hitz DJ.
Each one of the hooks under holy matrimony had a different kind of donut as weddings are now shift from traditional cake to other dessert options. It was custom-made display and decorated with white lighting.
Sign by the dessert area – signage is a huge part of wedding receptions today. Select signs that fit your personality and theme/feel for your special day. Plus, there’s a white light tree to add to the feel.
DJ setup with the use of blacklight during dinner for an uplighting effect. It’s not behind the headtable but off to the side to avoid the center of attention and in your pictures.
Signing a guestbook is a past wedding trend. Today couples using wood frames and building blocks something more of a daily reminder of their wedding. We recommend the larger blocks so your guests can write more than just a name. Plus, games are always fun to play as a married couple. Again, personalize your event to fit what uniquely describes you as a couple and don’t forget signage to explain the meaning behind it. Plus, make sure your DJ/MC makes announcements to remind the guests of the activity.
It’s more than just a meal at the reception. Snacks before the dinner and pizza after the dinner are now commonplace. Don’t forget the signage even for the pizza!!
The room was filled with over 200 guests. What a feeling…these guests are here for us and only us!!! All the work and planning to arrive at this day.
We just love catching a photographer taking a picture. It gives you an idea that everything that happens is being captured for good memories in years to come.
Dancing is a huge part of fun of any recpetion. It’s where generations can share the special moments with you.
When you play “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life”, it’s more than likely people will try lift each other in the air and not always succesful. It’s another part of the fun at the reception.
Preparing your mental focus is just as important pre-testing the equipment and fine-tuning the playlist. This is a photo of DJ Ryan keeps in his jacket from a DJ convention. It’s good idea to read through your notes before any guests arrive. Having the right mindset is very important trait for a successful DJ.
